Tote - Collect Reels and TikToks

I spend all day scrolling my cool new restaurants, and still don't know where to eat. \-- I recently moved to a new city and was constantly finding cool bars, restaurants, random activities, stuff friends sent me, etc on Instagram and TikTok. I didn't have anyway to make sense of all the things that I wanted to try, so I just kept taking screenshots. I was looking for a way to take that screenshot and turn it into something meaningful, so I played around with AI to see if I could upload an instagram post and let AI run with it. So instead of me manually moving stuff into Notes / Maps / whatever, it could pull out the useful part and organize it for me. I was so surprised by how well it worked, I built a really janky prototype and showed it to two friends. They were so amazed we decided to build the app together. So we launched Tote. It allows you to share any insta post, tiktok, website, etc with the app to automatically research the topic and categorize it. We also let you organize it yourself into lists, and plot things on a map. It helps you take endless scrolling and put it into an easy-to-use format. We're still in beta right now, so it's free, but we're planning on launching it as a yearly subscription plan. Alternatives today: \- apple notes \- google maps \- a few upstarts like rodeo Stage: \- we're still at the Proof: \- it's still early days, mostly friends and family that have it. but we have some loyal daily active users already GTM: \- we're going to run meta ads Please roast these specifically: \- do you understand the pitch? I want to really hone in on the acute problem to improve our messaging. I think a strong message will be the difference between success and failure \- does this feel useful? \- if you try it, does is the onboarding easy to understand? \- what would make you use this instead of just hoarding screenshots like I was?
