Passive AI Interaction
AI & Machine LearningProductivitySaaSTechnology

Description

Most AI tools currently behave like chatbots, waiting for users to initiate interactions. This passivity can lead to users forgetting important tasks or not utilizing the AI's full potential to manage their daily activities effectively.

Would you use an AI that doesn’t wait for prompts, but proactively checks in and helps you manage your day?

I’m building a product called Aivelle and I’d love some honest feedback. The main idea is this: Most AI tools still behave like chatbots. They sit there and wait for you to type something first. What I’m interested in is something different — an AI that doesn’t just wait for prompts, but proactively checks in based on your calendar, email, and goals. So instead of you having to ask, it might say things like: * you have a meeting in an hour, here’s what you probably need to prepare * this email still needs a reply and you’ve been putting it off * this follow-up looks important and today is probably the right time to send it * I drafted this for you, and it’s ready if you want to approve it * here’s what still matters before today ends So the value, at least in my head, is not “better chat.” It’s reducing the mental load of constantly figuring out what needs attention next. Important actions would still be approval-based, so it wouldn’t send emails or change things on its own without your permission. But the point is that it should notice first, speak first, and help first — instead of waiting for you to start every interaction. I’d really love honest feedback on this: 1. Does that sound genuinely useful, or does it sound annoying? 2. Would you want an AI that talks to you first instead of waiting for a prompt? 3. What kind of proactive check-ins would actually feel helpful? 4. What would make something like this feel trustworthy instead of intrusive? I’m not promoting anything right now. Just trying to figure out whether this solves a real problem for people or whether it only sounds good in theory. Appreciate any honest thoughts.
