Car enthusiasts often struggle to find information about car meets because these events are scattered across various platforms like Facebook groups and chats. This fragmentation makes it challenging for users to discover and participate in these events.
Pain Points
- Fragmented information across multiple platforms
- Difficulty in discovering nearby car meets
- Lack of a centralized platform for car meet information
- Inconvenience in organizing and managing car meets
Hey everyone, I’m a developer and also a big car enthusiast, so I built an app that helps people **discover car meets near them or organize their own**. Some of the things the app can do: * Discover car meets happening near you * Create and organize your own meets * Built-in navigation so people can easily get to the meet location * Share a meet using a **QR code** that opens directly in the app One problem I noticed is that a lot of car meets are scattered across different Facebook groups or chats, which makes them hard to discover. I wanted to build **a single place where people can easily find them**. Right now the app already lists **100+ car meets globally**, and I'm continuing to add more as the community grows. It’s currently **Android only**, but I’m working on the iOS version and more features — especially tools that help organizers manage their meets better.
