Individuals who have left a toxic friend group may experience a range of emotions such as anger, upset, and regret, even when they know it was the right decision. They may also struggle with whether to maintain connections with friends from the group who did not directly contribute to the toxicity.
This situation can lead to emotional distress and confusion, making it difficult for individuals to fully move on and embrace their newfound freedom.
Pain Points
- Experiencing mixed emotions after leaving a toxic friend group
- Uncertainty about maintaining connections with non-toxic friends from the group
- Struggling to fully move on and embrace freedom
This is related to my older post about leaving a toxic friend group. The first few days I felt fine but now I feel angry, upset, and regretful but a part of me knows I don’t feel regret bc I feel free. I still have some friends I trust who are in the group friended, but I feel like I should unfriend them if I really wanna move on… I also don’t cuz they never did anything wrong. GUYS JUST POS GIVE ME TIPS ON HOW TO MOVE ON AND SHOULD I UNFRIEND THEM OR NOT THANK YOU 😞😞
