Individuals who have been incarcerated often face significant challenges upon re-entering society. These challenges include social isolation, lack of support from friends and family, and limited opportunities for employment or personal growth. This can lead to depression and a sense of hopelessness.
The lack of support and opportunities can hinder their ability to reintegrate into society, leading to a cycle of poverty and potential re-offending. This issue affects not only the individuals but also their families and communities.

Life hasn’t been easy. I once went to prison for things I barely understood. When I came back, I realized how quickly people disappear when you’re at your lowest. None of my friends checked on me. I fell into depression, praying to God every day for one last chance. After about five months, even the one person who had been a source of strength my girlfriend, said goodbye. All I had left was my faith. One day, I asked myself a question: What’s missing in Rwanda’s tourism sector? That reflection sparked an idea, and over time, it grew into something I’m proud of, creating experiences that let people see the beauty of Rwanda in ways I hadn’t seen myself. Along the way, I learned that how you present your ideas matters as much as the ideas themselves. Even small things like visuals, layouts, or simple design choices can make your vision clearer and more approachable. Working with a custom graphic design service taught me how small design tweaks could make communication more effective and that lesson applies to almost anything in life, not just business. Sometimes, our lowest points aren’t the end they’re the beginning of something greater.
